Open the calculator →A calculator only works on the numbers you give it, so a little care at the start pays off. Use figures from the same time period, for example one month of costs next to that month of sales. Include every cost that belongs in the calculation, including your own time if you are pricing it. And treat the result as an estimate that helps you decide, not a promise about the future.
Every tool here shows the formula it uses and a worked example with clearly labeled illustrative numbers, so you can check the arithmetic yourself and see how the result is built. Several of the tools fit together: your profit margin feeds your customer lifetime value, which you compare with your acquisition cost, and your break-even point shows how much you must sell to cover your costs.
The calculators run in your browser. The figures you type are not sent to ChiefAdvice and are not stored. If you want to keep a result, use the Copy results button and paste it into your own notes or spreadsheet.
